Please include your store domain (yourstore.myshopify.com) and, for a question about a number, the order number or campaign.

Getting started

1. Install the app and open it from Apps → Realized Ledger in your Shopify admin.
2. Click Sync now. The app imports the orders of the last 60 days with refunds, returns, Shopify Payments fees and product costs.
3. Open Ad connections and connect Meta Ads or Google Ads (read-only), or upload spend as CSV (template on the page).
4. Check Settings: attribution model (last touch or first touch), return window, default COGS, payment fee, shipping and return costs.
5. Read Campaigns, Cohorts and Products. Click any campaign to see its orders, and any order to see every number behind it.

Better matching

• Meta Ads URL parameters: utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}&utm_id={{campaign.id}}&utm_content={{ad.id}}
• Google Ads: keep auto-tagging on (gclid). Optionally add utm_id={campaignid} to the final URL suffix.

Frequently asked questions

Why do my numbers differ from Meta Ads Manager? Meta counts view-through and cross-device conversions in its own windows and can claim an order that Google also claims. Realized Ledger credits each Shopify order to at most one campaign, so the totals add up to your Shopify sales.

What is "realized" revenue? Booked revenue minus refunds made inside your return window. Orders still inside the window are "open"; the projected profit expects your settled refund rate on them.

Where do costs come from? Product "Cost per item" from Shopify, Shopify Payments transaction fees, and your settings for missing costs, shipping and returns. The order page shows the source of each number.

How do I delete my data? Uninstall the app. Tokens are deleted at once and all store data 48 hours later.
